"Ike!" Greil's voice was loud in the small market area where he stood with his infant daughter Mist in his arms. His other child, a spirited young boy named Ike, was holding a play wooden sword in one hand and a sloppily prepared sandwich in the other. He had taken off down the road when his father called to him. He skidded to a stop and turned around.
"Yes, Father?"
"You meet me at the edge of town in thirty minutes, you hear?" Greil immediately quie

Prologue: Meet

The sun creeps up in the east, setting the horizon on fire in a vast display of color for yet another peaceful spring day. I sit alone, watching the wind blow through the flowers in Peach’s garden, sending their alluring fragrances in my direction. The breeze does what it can to dishevel my short, blue hair, but it doesn’t bother me. It’s almost soothing, really. The sun’s golden rays illuminate my untouched breakfast, but do nothing to make it more appealing to me. I haven’t had an appetite in quite some time.
I can hear a small commotion as

"Ike, does this story have a happy ending?"
"I hope you'll think so."

"Pit! Wait!" Link called, chasing after the youth. The Angel was already outside the fort and sprinting out into the woods. Baby, I know it must hurt, but don't destroy your friendship with Ike. "PIT!"
The blonde skidded to a halt, nearly sliding into a river. "Pit?" he called, looking up and down the bank. Finally, he spotted the heart broken cherub sitting on a stone by the water's edge, hugging his knees to his chest. "Pit?"
"He doesn't love me," the brunette cried. "He'd rather be with an animal!... Why am I not good enough, Link? Why won't Ike love me?"

Okay, so one of my RL friends happened to get in a car wreck not too long ago.

She wasn't hurt, but her car was completely totaled and now she doesn't have one.

Now here's the cool part. Doritos (Yes the chip brand) is hosting a contest, called "Doritos Crash the Superbowl" where contestants can enter their own Doritos commercial. The top five or six commercials, depending on how many views they receive, will be eligible for voting. The top three commercials will be aired during the Superbowl!

First place gets five million dollars!

Second gets one million!

Third gets... SOMETHING! I don't really know.

What does this have to do with my friend? Her dad entered the contest, and HE'S IN FIFTH PLACE RIGHT NOW!
